Type of Program
Montessori Program: The Montessori environment contains specially designed, manipulative “materials for development” that invite children to engage in learning activities of their own individual choice. Under the guidance of a trained teacher, children in a Montessori classroom learn by making discoveries with the materials, cultivating concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love of learning.
Faculty Credentials
Montessori certified teachers and aides with DCF requirements and CPR certification.

Registration Fee:
There is a $1000 non-refundable registration fee to cover all materials, supplies, major equipment, classroom upkeep, and playground maintenance for a school year. It also guarantees a spot for your child in a classroom. This fee is prorated if the child begins mid year. It is due per child.
Potty Training
Potty training is not required for the toddler classroom (15 months-3 years).
Discipline:
All childcare personnel must comply with the facility’s written disciplinary policy. Such policies shall include standards that prohibit children from being subjected to discipline, which is severe, humiliating, frightening, or associated with food, rest, or toileting. Spanking or any other form of physical punishment is prohibited for all childcare personnel. CORPORAL PUNISHMENT IS NEVER APPROPRIATE AND NEVER USED.
Food
Children bring lunch from home. Lunch must have ice pack and food is heated if needed. Everything must be labeled. Snacks should be healthy. Pizza Fridays available at a fee.
