Type of Program:

Montessori Program: The Montessori environment contains specially designed, manipulative “materials for development” that invite children to engage in learning activities of their own individual choice. Under the guidance of a trained teacher, children in a Montessori classroom learn by making discoveries with the materials, cultivating concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love of learning.

Faculty Credentials:

 Montessori certified teachers and aides with DCF requirements.

15 months to 6 years

15 months-3 years; 6:1 3-6 years; 9:1

Registration Fee:

There is a $1000 non-refundable registration fee to cover all materials, supplies, major equipment, classroom upkeep, and playground maintenance for a school year. It also guarantees a spot for your child in a classroom. This fee is prorated if the child begins mid year. It is due per child.

Potty Training:

Potty training is not required for the toddler classroom (15 months-3 years).

Discipline:

All childcare personnel must comply with the facility’s written disciplinary policy. Such policies shall include standards that prohibit children from being subjected to discipline, which is severe, humiliating, frightening, or associated with food, rest, or toileting. Spanking or any other form of physical punishment is prohibited for all childcare personnel.  CORPORAL PUNISHMENT IS NEVER APPROPRIATE AND NEVER USED.

Food:

Children bring lunch from home.

Lunch must have ice pack and food is heated if needed.

Everything must be labeled.

Snacks will be provided daily.
Pizza Fridays available at a fee.

Web cams provided to parents at no additional cost.

Vacation Schedule:

Most national holidays are observed (please see our school calendar for details).

The Montessori Garden Fees 2024-2025

NEW FAMILIES

Registration Fee $1000 per child

* Due at the beginning of the school year. Rate prorated Includes enrollment, materials and supplies, insurance. Fee is not refundable. 

Tuition Fees:

Yearly fees for all ages paid from August 1-May 1 (10 month tuition schedule)

*(Tuition paid in full at the beginning of the year will receive 5% discount)

Before/Extended Care fees:

Partial Week Schedule - 4 days a week

Sitting Services (available for teacher workdays and vacation days)

8:00-4:00 pm only $50 for the day

Pizza Fridays:

Payable yearly ($150 prorated)
